Josephine Rachelle Aranda

Josephine Rachelle Aranda is a Business Transactional Associate Attorney with FitzGerald Kreditor Bolduc Risbrough LLP.  Ms. Aranda’s practice is focused on public company reporting, corporate governance, public offerings and private placements of securities, mergers, and acquisitions, and general business law matters.

Ms. Aranda has experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions; structuring, formation, and compliance of funds; and raising debt and equity capital in various industries including real estate, technology, and food and beverage. Ms. Aranda’s prior experience includes serving as lead US counsel for a consortium of investors, including two large institutional hedge funds, for the purchase of non-performing loan portfolios in the CEE.  In this capacity, she represented the US legal team and traveled to Poland to handle multiple business matters on behalf of this client. In addition, she acted as outside general counsel to asset management companies, lead multiple mid-size private capital raises, and represented private equity firms for various cross-border acquisitions.

Education

Ms. Aranda attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received her double major in Political Science and Global & International Studies. During her undergraduate career, she had the opportunity to be the Campaign Secretary, and eventually the Assistant Campaign Manager for a 3rd District Supervisor in Santa Barbara County, where she was able to learn the inner working of a grassroots political race. Pursuing her international political and legal interests, she had the privilege to be a Law Clerk for Sandiganbayan, a specialized Court of Appeals that dealt solely with criminal and civil cases involving graft and corrupt practices by public officers and employees as well as government-owned or controlled corporations. She was invited to be a guest speaker at Far Eastern University to showcase her case study regarding the philosophy behind political corruption. Post-graduation, Josephine earned a Fellowship with the Academy of Business Leadership in 2010.

Josephine attended Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, CA, and graduated at the top of her class. She was the Founder and President of the Women’s Legal Society at TLS. In addition, Josephine was in Trinity’s Law Review and Appellate Moot Court team. She received AMJUR awards recognizing the highest grade in her class for Contracts, Torts, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Community Property, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and Professional Responsibilities & Ethics.
